Cinco De Mayo was the best day of the year for me in Utah-2 feet of fresh and no Tram line at Snowbird-something I will never take for granted after such a crazy winter. There is nothing like a good day at your home resort-shredding with your friends. That day saved my snow sanity after coming home from the worst Alaska trip ever, 13 out of 14 weather days. 3 good runs for thousands of dollars. Before that one sunny morning in Whistler with 9 weather days, but its whistler so your still having fun. Before that a 110 foot yacht with a heli. Sounds great until the Heli is engulfed by an avalanche with a 40 foot crown thats 200 feet wide. At least we are all alive and we got to party on a 110 foot yacht off the coast of British Colombia plus I got two good runs in. Before that-22 days in Alaska, 5 of my best Ak days ever. No avi’s, no wind, 2 feet of blower snow, 1st descents and 20 below temps plus we were out in the middle of knowhere so no cell phones eithier. Before that was one of the best road trips of my life. I want to marry a Canadian, but a house, 4 snowmobiles and move to Revelstoke. Before that I discovered that Washington has some of the sickest little resorts in North America(as long as its not raining) and they got more snow than the rest of the US-probably combined. Before that was Chile. Red Wine, 14000 foot peaks and a heli operation out of Valle Nevado that competes with Alaska on a good day.

Next is Denali, 35 days in a tent with a bunch of dudes and no shower. Then New Zealand and Argentina to finish up the Levitation movie. Check back in July for full stories and photos.
