If you have never been to AK now’s the time!!! Alyeska is one of the sickest resorts around. They have received a total of 221 inches to date and they are expecting a fresh foot tonight. Our crew for the day consisted of Austen Granger,Bode Merrill, Phil Damianakes, Adam Clark and Nico. Minus Adam Clark this was all of our first day shredding this SICK MOUNTAIN!!!. The terrain is steep and the possibilities are endless Everything from Pillow lines, Open pow runs, Chutes, Cliffs, Jib lines and tons of epic natural terrain. Here are some shots from our first day shredding AK from ADAM CLARK.

Damn Bode… is that a new coat?

Austen Granger showing us he had no problem shredding Alyeska after the 70 hour drive from Utah. 

By our 3rd run it was blowing sideways and getting better with every turn. Phil Damianakes getting his AK SLASH on.

With not knowing our way around the mountain very well this is a prime example of some of the terrain that is directly under Alyeska’s lifts. Bode Merrill showing us the base of his new board sponsor Salomon.

We ran into a few familiar faces after a few runs and Kenny Jones happened to be one of them. Kenny is a homie from Snowbird that made the move to AK a year ago and opted to stick around for another season. He helped show us around and give us the beta on all the lines that we can expect to get after with the new snow that is forecasted for the week. 

Not really sure how a day of shredding and filming could go by without  Austen Granger and Bode Merrill not getting down with a few BUDDY JAMS.

Looks like it the snow let up for just a second so Bode could grab a little tail.
